Meet Prince 2Bella, the Nigerian Writer Known as African Shakespeare

Prince Olawale Bella, popularly known as Prince 2Bella, is a Nigerian author and creative entrepreneur whose life reflects a combination of literature, adventure, business, family, travel, and storytelling.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Prince 2Bella discovered his passion for documenting human experiences and telling stories that connect with everyday people. His books explore African society, relationships, migration, ambition, entrepreneurship, and the realities faced by people pursuing opportunities beyond their immediate environment.

Known to many through his creative identities “African James Bond 007” and “African Shakespeare,” Prince 2Bella brings together the adventurous spirit of a traveller and the imagination of a storyteller. His experiences travelling widely around the world have helped shape his understanding of people, cultures, societies, and the African experience.

He is also the Founder and Managing Director of P.2 Bella World Enterprise, a Nigerian business and publishing enterprise established in 2014.

Prince 2Bella is not only a writer but also a poet and songwriter, using different creative forms to express ideas, emotions, experiences, and observations about life.

His next major literary project, The Hustler Londoner, takes readers into the world of immigrants in London, examining their dreams, struggles, survival, relationships, challenges, and determination to build a better future.

Away from his professional life, Prince 2Bella is happily married with children. His family life and personal experiences continue to contribute to the perspective he brings to his writing.

His philosophy is simple: travel, observe, experience, create, and tell the story.
